A residency can give an artist something that is often difficult to find alongside everyday commitments: time, space, and a different environment to work in.

Through our residency programme, we identify and develop opportunities for Pakistani artists to spend time in new places, focus on their practice, undertake research, and engage with different artistic and cultural contexts.

The opportunities we offer vary in location, duration, format, eligibility, and support.

What you can expect

Each residency has its own structure and support. Depending on the programme, artists may receive:

Comfortable living arrangements and dedicated studio space to facilitate uninterrupted creative work.

Access to experienced mentors, gallery tours, and museum visits for curated learning and inspiration.
