Overview

A residency can give an artist something that is often difficult to find alongside everyday commitments: time, space, and a different environment to work in.

ChrysArte invites visual artists, researchers, and cultural practitioners from around the globe and across Pakistan to our immersive residency programs. Developed in partnership with Collective 55, founded by the contemporary artist and curator Qasim Bugti, our Pakistan-based residencies provide a structured framework for deep concept incubation, critical dialogue, and professional advancement within South Asia’s contemporary art ecosystem.

The opportunities we offer vary in location, duration, format, eligibility, and support. Our programs are specifically built to champion fresh perspectives across all career stages and artistic disciplines. By separating the initial research phase from active physical studio production, the residency grants creators the time and space to evolve their conceptual depth without the stress of immediate deadlines, culminating in a professionally curated contemporary gallery showcase.
